A rare opportunity to obtain a super Painite and Ruby combination specimen from Myanmar (Burma)
A sizeable example, this irregular elongated crystal of the rare brown coloured borate mineral Painite is studded along its length with deep red rounded ruby crystals.
Painite was once considered to be the rarest mineral on the planet, but over the past 2 to 3 decades more has been discovered.
It does however still command high prices and more recently supplies have been dwindling and so it is still considered very rare.
This is a good sized example worthy of any high quality mineral or crystal collection.
A completely natural occurrence, this crystal specimen has not been treated in any way.
Great example for collectors and mineral enthusiasts.
